Set your browser language to one of the languages supported by OpenAI to opt in to OpenAI's alpha version and view ChatGPT in that language.

OpenAI now offers a ChatGPT interface that supports more than 50 languages.

When you access ChatGPT on a browser or mobile device, OpenAI automatically detects the language of your browser or mobile device and updates ChatGPT's language to match a supported language.

In OpenAI's recommended browser, Google Chrome, you can go to chrome://settings/languages to find the browser's preferred languages. If you want to use ChatGPT in another language, you can update the browser's preferred language or update the settings in ChatGPT.




How can I use ChatGPT in a different language?
Please note that you can only update the ChatGPT language setting after logging in.

In the browser
1. Click the profile icon in the lower-left corner of the page and select "Settings".




2. In the "General" settings, click the drop-down menu next to "Language".




3. Select your preferred language from the drop-down menu.

On the mobile app
Open the sidebar and select the profile icon at the bottom of the screen.




In the app, select the Language option.
