Please refer to the video content, with the video content as the main basis; the video contains a detailed feature demonstration that looks very intuitive. Premiere officially stated that it is expected to launch this year, specifically around the end of the year, because Sora's launch is likely around November.
Adobe is harnessing the power of generative AI to provide state-of-the-art and precise editing tools. In Premiere Pro, several features are coming soon, powered by the new Adobe Firefly video model. This will change the way editing works. A common editing challenge is when shots need to be added or replaced.
The object-based feature in Premiere Pro combines Adobe's Firefly video model, allowing you to add or change objects and shots with text prompts, making selection much easier. You can not only add objects but also easily remove them; using AI-based intelligent masking for object removal, selecting and deleting objects across frames is fast and accurate.
At the same time, distracting toolboxes are removed; with Firefly, you can remove unwanted props, people, or equipment, or copyrighted elements such as brand logos. With Premiere Pro, all edits are non-destructive, so you can always return to the original footage. When your clip is too short, you can shoot a few more takes and use Firefly Smart Extend to add frames, extend your shot, and ensure you have exactly the media you need.
In addition, through Content Credentials, you can learn whether AI was used to create the media you are viewing. Adobe can't wait to bring these Firefly-powered video editing workflows to Premiere Pro. Later this year, more features will be rolled out. Editors can choose to use the model that best suits their footage.
Through Content Credentials, Adobe will always be transparent about whether AI is used. In media creation, revolutionary features such as object addition, removal, and generative extend will be powered by the new Adobe Firefly video model, coming soon to Premiere Pro.
