[综合] ChatGPT Windows Client Installation and Download Guide

Unfortunately, I have to tell everyone that as of now, OpenAI has not released a Windows version of the ChatGPT desktop app. What people are currently circulating as the Windows version is mostly wrapper apps. In May of this year, OpenAI announced that they would prioritize launching the Mac version first, considering terminals with concentrated users first. The ChatGPT terminals currently available are the web, Mac app, and iOS app, as well as one announced to be launched in the second half of this year. However, considering that after OpenAI decided in July to prohibit providing services to China, whether iOS can smoothly enter China is in doubt, since iOS apps also call API interfaces.

The moderator currently does not recommend that everyone use wrapper apps. For ChatGPT, wrappers are pirated versions, and with the upcoming stricter controls, any API wrapper app will face shutdown. If you want to continue using ChatGPT, you can use the web version; it is not subject to such restrictions.
